Bio

Editha Johnson, DO, is a neuropthamologist and neurologist with the Hartford HealthCare Ayer Neuroscience Institute.

Her areas of clinical interest include: anisocoria (unequal pupil size); diplopia (double vision); giant cell arteritis; idiopathic orbital inflammation/orbital pseudotumor; idiopathic intracranial hypertension/papilledema; ischemic optic neuropathy; Ocular Motility Disorder/Nystagmus/Strabismus; Ocular Myasthenia Gravis; optic nerve tumors; optic neuritis; optic neuropathy due to toxic, metabolic and nutritional deficiencies; and vision loss.

Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Johnson earned her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship and residency through the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and a fellowship through Weill Cornell School of Medicine.

She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Medical Association.
